Go one way and you create one type of future; go the other and it’s a different story. Right now is one of those times and I’d like to take a stand for myself. I am getting ready to take the road that leads me to my bigger future, the one I’ve dreamed about.
Mobile apps have been on the rise for the past few years. According to New York Times, “Mobile Marketing is the most powerful media ever invented.” In less than a year, the projected size of the mobile app industry has skyrocketed from $55 billion to $70 billion. About 6 months ago, I started a mobile app business to bring business class mobile apps to market. In this short time, we are already making plans and scheduled to grow it into a multi-national mobile app development venture. Help needed? It think so. I read the news that Barbara Walters is retiring next year.
What a lot of people, especially women, today likely may not know is that she paved the way for women everywhere to be broadcast journalists on television. She was the first woman to do so, ever. At that time I can only imagine the courage it took.
I learned about this and her career as part of a project at 9 a few years ago. Rock on, Barbara Walters. Thanks for inspiring women everywhere, including this one.
